Tips and recommendations to raise and feed a safe and healthy toddler
Around 15 months, you may notice your toddler beginning to take steps by themselves. Encourage them to get more confident walking. Make sure that you take measures to make your home safer.
Your toddler learns from watching you. They may like to play with things such as a phone or book if they see you using those items.
They might also try to copy things you do, like chores.
Swap out foods and snacks that are high in added sugar and sodium for healthier options.
After 12 months old, toddlers drink less breast milk and infant formula is not recommended. Toddlers can eat solid foods now and drink cow’s milk.
Early food preferences influence food choices later in life. Make sure you are giving your toddler nutrient-dense foods.
