Many new mothers experience a range of emotions in the 2 weeks following the baby’s birth. This is normal. If sadness and feeling down last more than 2 weeks, it could be postpartum depression.

Avoid drug or excessive alcohol use as a stress reliever. Second-hand smoke will hurt your baby. Using drugs will impair your ability to care for your baby.
Do not use: alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, illegal drugs, unprescribed medications, etc.
Meals should contain foods from each of the five food groups. Healthy meals will give you more energy and help you heal faster.
